Journalist Yegor Lynch and his friend John head to a residential area to help a group of students. The local student dormitory has long enjoyed a notorious reputation and has been unofficially given the ominous number "666." John and Lynch must confront a mystical story, explore the abandoned and cursed dormitory premises, unravel the mystery of the spirits' appearance, and help the frightened students survive, fighting off the evil spirits. It turns out that the ghosts are the souls of people tortured or killed due to dark rituals and cruelty associated with the place's past. On the sixth floor, a decisive confrontation unfolds with the main, most aggressive and powerful spirit (the cursed entity), which has been controlling the other ghosts. Lynch and John manage to perform a cleansing ritual and destroy the source of the curse. The surviving students are rescued, the cursed sixth floor is put to rest, and the heroes successfully evacuate the building, having recorded yet another paranormal case.

Lynch and John come out to the noise of a madman. They were planning to go on vacation, but ended up listening to the madman say that something bad is about to happen, and it HAPPENED. The apocalypse has begun: people around them are starting to lose their minds. They try to figure out what's happening, encounter aggression from the military and the infected, descend into the technical tunnels to restore power and look for a way out of this madness. The rest of the people in the city become infected, as does John. Lynch locked John in a cell in the police building, then found a guy in a certain apartment in a certain house who is into airplanes. Together they develop a plan to save the city. It was decided to pour the cure for the infection into a bucket and fly over the city. Barely, but Lynch landed the helicopter, and the city was saved. He also cured John.

Lynch returns to the abandoned "Youth" camp in his own time to find clues and a way to rescue his friend. At the abandoned camp, Yegor encounters grown-up bullies from his past and once again faces the curse of the Queen of Spades. After experiencing another dose of mysticism, solving the camp's secrets, and once again fighting off the sinister spirit, Lynch manages to find a way to fix the time loop and return John to the real world.

It turns out that one of the local boys, Yurka, summoned the Queen of Spades and made a wish (to get rid of bullies and go to the future). The Queen of Spades grants wishes, but in a twisted way—taking lives in exchange. Egor is forced to save the children and literally survive. Lynch realizes that they are stuck in someone else's time. Due to the Queen of Spades' intervention, the portal breaks, and reality is distorted. It turns out that Yurka, the boy who summoned the Queen of Spades, wished not just to get rid of the bullies, but to go to the future. The Queen of Spades fulfilled this literally—pulling him forward in time, causing him to die in the past. Lynch desperately tries to save the children and find his friend John. However, the mystical power of the Queen of Spades distorts reality and breaks the time portal. At one point, Lynch enters the dining hall, hoping to see his friend, but instead, the Queen of Spades herself appears, vanishing, leaving the camp to burn. Realizing that the portal is finally broken and that being in the past is mortally dangerous, Yegor Lynch jumps into the river. The river acts as an anomalous time conductor, and Lynch returns to his present time. The main cliffhanger: waking up in his own time, Yegor realizes he has returned alone. John remains trapped in the past (or has completely disappeared into another reality). Camp "Youth" in the present has turned into a gloomy, cursed abandoned place. In the finale, Lynch loses John and then sets a new goal: to find him at any cost.
