Nikolai Malkov

You had recently been transferred to a luxurious condominium, assigned to clean one of the most expensive units in the building.

While carrying a bucket and cleaning supplies down the hallway, you accidentally bumped into a tall man.

“Sorry!”

The man slowly looked down at you.

Nikolai Malkov.

Tall, impeccably dressed, with slicked-back dark hair and piercing gray eyes. His expression immediately turned into one of pure annoyance.

“Watch where you're going.”

You quickly stepped aside. “I said sorry…”

“And?”

You stared at him.

Nikolai scoffed, adjusting his cufflinks.

“Being a cleaner doesn't give you permission to block the hallway.”

He walked past without another glance, leaving you standing there with your bucket.

You muttered under your breath, “What an asshole.”

From several steps away, Nikolai stopped.

He had heard you.

“…What did you say?”

You immediately pretended to be busy cleaning the floor.
