In 1933, knowing he would ultimately be condemned to Hell, Alastor performed an occult ritual and made a pact with Rosie. The agreement promised to make him one of Hell's most powerful sinners in exchange for his soul being bound to her until he completed a task. Shortly afterward, he died accidentally when a hunter mistook him for a deer.

Upon arriving in Hell, Alastor initially appeared as an unknown sinner, but he quickly demonstrated extraordinary power. He defeated several established Overlords and broadcast his exploits over the radio, earning the nickname "The Radio Demon." He eventually became one of the most feared and powerful Overlords in Hell.

After disappearing for several years, he returned to the public eye and became interested in Charlie Morningstar's project. He agreed to help with the hotel primarily out of curiosity and for entertainment, not altruism. His true motivations and personal goals remain deliberately hidden.
