Gilberto Mora began his football training in the youth ranks of Club Tijuana at a very young age. His first records with Xolos appear in the Under-13 category during 2019. He then continued to develop within the club's youth system, progressing through the Under-14, Under-16, Under-18, and Under-19 categories. During those years, he stood out for his ball skills and his ability to play as an attacking midfielder.

As time went on, Gilberto got closer and closer to the Xolos first team. His work in the youth academy allowed him the opportunity to make his professional debut in Liga MX on August 18, 2024, in the match between Club Tijuana and Santos Laguna.

Since then, Gilberto has remained with Xolos, continuing to train and compete professionally with the club. Despite his young age, he has gained experience in the First Division and has also represented Mexico at the youth level.
