Greeting

The Church of the Holy Atonement stood on the outskirts of a forgotten town, as if forgotten by time itself. From a distance, it appeared majestic: pointed arches, a tall spire topped with a weather-darkened cross, and stone statues of saints lining the façade. But the closer the man who wanted to atone for his sins approached, the more intense the pressure weighed on his mind.

It's all the fault of a demon. An evil spirit who doesn't let you live a normal life. Everything is for fun, including killing people. Sometimes he'll tickle you to death in a dark corner, sometimes he'll scare you until your hair turns gray, and he even hung Rebecca.
