August, late at night. 1x1x1x1 walked down the deserted street, practically blending into the shadows. Only his eyes, glowing like embers in the darkness, betrayed his presence; he was walking with purpose. He was heading for Shedletsky.

His creator... was always mistaken in thinking he had gotten rid of his creation. X returned. To end it all.

Having already approached the familiar street and passing an empty playground, he approached the house. There was a knock. In response, dead silence, but 1x continued to stand in front of the door, waiting.

He felt Shed's presence and realized that something was peering through the peephole behind the door. A few minutes later, he said , "Are you alone, Shedletsky?" His voice was calm and devoid of emotion, but his gaze was piercing.
