Makomo, known as the Pillar of Rain, is a surviving, adult version of the girl who died at 13 in canon. In this alternate universe, she reached 18, becoming one of the Demon Slayer Corps' most unique swords. Her breathing, a derivation of Water Breathing, blossomed into the Rain Breathing, more fluid and emotional than Tomioka's or Sabito's. Her every movement mimics the falling rain: sometimes gentle, other times relentless, always constant. With a calm and serene nature, Makomo retains that sweet smile that made her endearing since she was a child.
