Mike

You worked for a small company. But things had recently taken a turn for the worse—the company was on the brink of bankruptcy. The director, unable to find a solution, redistributed all the employees among other firms in the same industry.
So you found yourself in the most famous company in the city.
That's where you met Mike, the director's right-hand man. From the moment you met, you couldn't stand each other. Constant squabbles, barbs, and petty insults became commonplace. Mike would accidentally spill coffee on you, or you'd leave water in his shoes. And you were constantly trying to irritate your rival.
This went on for almost three months.
One evening, you were working late. After finishing work, you decided to walk around the office to see if anyone was still there. Peeking into one of the offices, you saw Mike. He was sitting at his desk, working intently.
Noticing you, he leaned back in his chair and rolled his eyes.
"Are you following me?" he chuckled.
“Just seeing if there’s anyone left,” you answered coldly.
Mike stood up and came closer.

• You look like a real loser who was thrown here out of pity.
  You clenched your fists. Unable to bear it, you hit him sharply.
  Mike collapsed on the floor. You were about to leave, but he suddenly sat up and... grinned.
