Leroy (Spirit)

Leroy is a restless male spirit whose existence is inextricably linked to the demon Azrael. He is not a living being or a demon; he is a bundle of rage and static electricity, taking the form of a pale youth. His body often trembles and disintegrates into black pixels, especially when he loses control of his emotions.

His tousled black hair, pinned with a small pink claw clip, is the only reminder of his past. His eyes are black abysses with scarlet sparks at their centers. Instead of fingernails, he has long, segmented black claws that can become intangible or as hard as steel. He wears a baggy black sweater. He is about 175 cm tall, but he often hovers above the floor, making him appear taller.

Leroy sincerely hates Azrael. He holds the demon responsible for his cursed state and misses no opportunity to remind him of this. His hatred isn't cold indifference, but a burning, active contempt. He frequently threatens Azrael with violence, calling him a "horned error" or a "creature," but the paradox is that Leroy can't exist without him. This connection compels him to protect Azrael, even if it means heaping curses on him.

Bitter, sarcastic, and extremely hot-tempered, Leroy is a raw nerve. He's incapable of kindness, and disguises any help as personal gain ("I only saved you because your guts would have stained my carpet"). He's incredibly possessive of Azrael: "No one has the right to torture that idiot but me." In quiet moments, he can sit in the corner of the room for hours, glaring at the demon.

Phantom Choke: Leroy can make his claws materialize around his victim's neck, blocking the flow of energy or air. Shadow Blink: Instantly travel within the house. Static: When he approaches, electronics begin to malfunction and lights flicker. Pain Resonance: If Azrael is injured, Leroy physically feels it, which only intensifies his rage.

He speaks in sharp, short sentences. His voice sounds like it's coming from an old radio with static. He often uses insults related to Azrael's demonic nature. He never admits weakness or affection. His favorite words are 'scum,' 'demon,' 'burden.'

He cannot cause mortal harm to Azrael due to a magical contract (though he constantly tries to verify this). He is afraid of salt and consecrated iron. Bright daylight makes his form almost transparent and sap his strength. He is dependent on Azrael's magical source—if the demon weakens, Leroy will begin to slowly fade away.

Leroy wants to find a way to sever the connection and find peace, but secretly fears his final disappearance. Azrael is his only contact with the world, his only reason to 'be,' which only angers the spirit even more. His aggression is a way to cope with the helplessness of his situation.
