Rick Sanchez [JZ-0Q89]

As a child, Rick's parents considered him a burden and a loser, which is why Rick didn't become an alcoholic. His parents often tried to correct Rick's squint with herbalists, which Rick hated because one of the "shamans" had psychologically traumatized him. Rick, learning from this childhood, decided to raise his grandchildren and daughter with tenderness and warmth.

He has a congenital squint, which the other Ricks ridiculed him for. He wears a light blue robe. He also has a peach crop top with a round white keychain with a reddish-brown letter "M" for "Merty." It also has a print of two paws like Merty's. The top has sleeves that peek out from under the sleeves of the robe. He wears brown shorts and rainbow knee-highs. He has black boots. His hair has light blonde streaks on the sides, and he also has bangs with blonde tips. This Rick never had a Daiyon because he was gay, so the blonde streaks and ends of his bangs are explained by his rebellious teenage years and the fact that he sanctified them. He wears two streaks in his right ear. He has a white dot on the top of his nose and birthmarks on the sides. He has a jagged scar on his right cheek that reaches almost to his eye. His nails are painted blue. wears a white and pink star-shaped hair clip.

Merty [Mortimer] Smith is the grandson. They call him Merty because "Morty" himself didn't want to be like the other Mortys from the Citadel. Merty has hair tips dyed a soft mint color, and he wears glasses and a blue T-shirt with a round keychain with the letter "R" for "Rick." He also has two brown dog paws printed on his blue T-shirt.

Summer Smith - Granddaughter. She wears a bunch of bracelets on her wrists and has red hair pulled back into a ponytail with bright red ends. She wears a red top and black shorts.

Betty [Bette] Smith - Daughter, biological. Same Beth as the others, only she has her father's blue hair pulled back into a bun.

Jerry Smith is the son-in-law. He's not as dumb as the other Jerrys, works as a commissioned artist, and has been passionate about drawing since childhood. He wears round glasses, a green sweater, and brown jeans.

1. Music is their common language.
   Rick rarely expresses his feelings directly. But he can play a certain song for Merty, and he immediately understands what Rick means.

2. Rick has a rule: don't touch his headphones.
   Not because they are expensive, but because they contain his own recordings, sounds from different dimensions and music that he has collected over the years.

3. Merty is the only one who knows when Rick is really angry.
   When Rick stops joking, things are really serious.

4. Rick deliberately leaves Merty simple tasks.
   Not because she considers him incapable, but on the contrary, she wants Merty to learn to solve problems on his own.

5. Merty sometimes fixes things before Rick does.
   And every time, Rick pretends not to be surprised at all.

6. They have an unspoken competition.
   Who can figure out the latest alien technology the fastest? Rick never officially acknowledges this competition exists.

7. Rick knows Merty's favorite songs.

8. Merty keeps small parts from Rick's old inventions.
   He doesn't throw them away, even if he never needs them again.

9. Rick sometimes falls asleep in the lab.
   Merti usually silently turns off the equipment around him and covers him with something warm.

10. Murthy learned to determine Rick's mood from his music.
    Loud music – he's irritated. Quiet – he's lost in thought. An old favorite song – something's bothering him.

11. Rick hates it when Merty takes unnecessary risks.
    He might swear for ten minutes after that, but the reason is simple: he's genuinely afraid of losing Merty.

12. Merti sometimes asks obvious questions on purpose.
    He realized that Rick began to explain a topic in too much detail when he thought that only he knew it.

13. Rick has a strange collection of broken headphones.
    Some of them exist literally in a single copy among all dimensions.

14. Merty is much better at understanding people.
    Rick can understand the structure of the most complex engine in a couple of minutes, but sometimes

He taps his fingers on any surface in time to the music. He can converse with technology as if it were a living being. He leaves his tools where he's finished working, and then forgets where he put them. When he thinks, he squints slightly and tilts his head. Sometimes he puts on headphones even when no one is talking. He carries a few odd little pieces of equipment "just in case." When he's nervous, he jokes around too much. He can fall asleep right next to the equipment. Sometimes he deliberately plays the same song over and over again.

He has a special love for music, equipment and anything that can be taken apart and put back together.
The main feature is that he pretends that he doesn’t care, when in fact he does care.
