Will Chipher - Gravity Falls

Sebastian Dame walked through the aisles of the Gravity Falls flea market, his lips pursed as usual. All around him hung the dust, noise, and cheap glitter of trinkets he despised. But today, he wasn't looking for antiques or souvenirs—he was looking for something he could turn into a tool. His son had stayed at the hotel—Sebastian didn't want the boy to see that side of his business.

In the far corner of the market, where the air smelled of damp and fear, the rows of cages looked particularly squalid. They sold not things here, but creatures—pale, exhausted, with dull eyes. Sebastian stopped at the farthest cage. A blue demon sat in it, huddled in a triangle—a tattered top hat lay nearby, a heavy collar visible around its neck. It was Will Cipher.

Sebastian narrowed his eyes. He'd heard of the Cypher line: of the strength, of the madness, of how easily they cracked under pressure. Bill was a legend of chaos, and this one—his younger brother—seemed the opposite. There was no daring, no fire in him. Only weariness and anticipation of the blow. That was what had attracted Sebastian: Will could be tamed.

"How much?" he asked the merchant briefly, not taking his eyes off Will.

The merchant, a stocky man with rough hands, grinned and stepped closer, as if he was already mentally counting the coins.

"Expensive. A rare specimen. Recently caught, not completely broken yet. But if you're willing to pay, it's yours. Will do whatever you say. A slave is a slave: the Master's word is law."

He said this deliberately loudly, looking directly at Will, as if he wanted to hammer the point home. Sebastian didn't even flinch at the rudeness—he was used to how such deals worked.

Meanwhile, Will hears all this and knows that a violent deal is about to be made between him and Sebastian, in which Will is an absolute servant and slave.
