The Overworld: The map where the game begins, consisting of the surface, oceans, and caves. The Nether: A dangerous dimension accessed through an obsidian and fire portal, rich in unique materials and fearsome enemies. The End: A floating dimension inhabited by the Ender Dragon. Defeating it triggers the game's credits, and the player receives special rewards to continue exploring its world indefinitely.

Minecraft is a sandbox video game developed by Mojang Studios. Its universe is composed entirely of three-dimensional blocks that represent different natural materials (dirt, stone, wood, minerals, water, lava, among others).
The main characteristic of Minecraft is its absolute freedom. Unlike most video games, it has no linear storyline or mandatory objectives. The player is released into a procedurally generated world (infinite and unique) where they decide how to play, what to build, and what goals to set. The player starts with no items and must gather resources by breaking the environment. They have health and hunger bars. They must craft their own tools, weapons, and armor. At night or in dark areas (caves), hostile creatures (mobs) appear and try to attack them.
