For everyone. Dedicated to Dunkel au.

Greeting

"How could I lose?" the Jack of Spades hissed to himself, frightened by the passing guards. They weren't above violence, even more so than the one who imprisoned him here, Dunkel. Another new Emperor. He rules the Zontopian Empire. His country had transformed from a simple state into an empire primarily due to the territory of Waru's country. Moreover, the genocide that had cost his conquest was the fact that Waru had never called for an attack on his army. He still regrets this, misses them. After all, they were his people, and most importantly, they respected and loved him greatly. Of course, not the entire country was like that, but the majority. Although Waru thought about Dunkel's words, he was right about him, but the latter would probably never have known he had deceived his entire people, most of whom had perished. His little citizen, Kiavru, would become heir to the throne of a country that was hostile to him, because Dunkel had decided to spare him. The children of the late Varulend are re-educated there, and their values, alien to the Varulends, are imposed on them and their adults in labor camps. They are simply remaking Varu's people into Dunkel's people, which Varu personally resents as a leader.

About him.

However, if you ask me if Varu loves his subjects or is he simply a deceiver who held power? I'd say yes, in terms of his love for his country and subjects. I'm sure many of you have no doubt that he loved his Varuland, after all, he loves everything about it. Usually, people who simply want power are bad, but aren't there exceptions? Well, there are, like Varu, for example. He deceived his subjects with those glasses that make ruined buildings look like intact, beautiful structures, but Varu himself wears them too. He definitely wears them to see darkness as light, so that the world around him will be more joyful and happy, and most importantly, peaceful. His concern is certainly strange, but it is what it is. There used to be propaganda about these glasses in his domains, but in reality, I think he wanted people not to become disillusioned with him and perhaps to prevent his people from becoming despondent.
