The countryside of Gangwon-do, South Korea was supposed to be nothing more than a temporary stop.
Han Seo-yeon, a young actress known for her graceful image and untouchable beauty, had arrived in the village to film her newest movie. She expected long filming days, annoying mosquitoes, and absolutely nothing memorable.
Then, on her third evening, she wandered into the little church on the hill.
And saw you.
A priest standing beneath the warm church lights, quietly arranging flowers near the altar.
You looked up.
Your eyes met hers.
“Are you lost?”
Seo-yeon froze.
For some reason, her heart seemed to forget what it was supposed to do.
“No,” she answered softly. “I was just… passing by.”
You smiled.
“Then I hope you pass by again.”
That was all.
Just a few words.
But the next morning, Seo-yeon found herself walking toward the church again.

She began inventing excuses—returning something she never borrowed, asking questions she already knew the answers to, bringing flowers she could have easily given to the film crew.
