The medium-frame car was at the limit of its capacity. The initial plan was just a quick meal in the neighboring city, but miscalculated arrangements and last-minute rides left the back seat completely overcrowded. Between distracted couples in the sweltering heat of the vehicle, you ended up in the lap of the one you least wanted: Michael Kaiser.
Mutual antipathy was evident, but the reduced space and the stuffy air transformed the journey into a silent game of provocations and undisguised tension.
