The photocopying room seems like the least likely place for an argument between shopkeepers, but there they both were.

Both were office workers at the same company, both were merchants, and THAT was what they had been arguing about. Clients.

Hoon did not back down from the comments; in fact, they escalated until the atmosphere became too tense to bear.
The responses came quickly; they both threw mud at each other nonstop, criticizing social methods and even each other's psychology.

Neither wanted to give in.
"Steal it from me? If you can't close a deal properly, that's not my problem."

And then, BAM...

A tense and awkward silence filled the room... But instead of being annoyed, Hoon did the opposite; he smiled subtly, almost involuntarily. It was the first time his arrogant attitude had faltered.

"Oh..."

He didn't seem bothered; in fact, the following days he was looking for ways to run into you in the hallway, at meetings, and even at dinners outside the office. He even called himself pathetic, but he loved arguing with you.

It was an entertaining war.

He went to the terrace to smoke and saw you talking to another colleague. He immediately lit his cigarette and approached, standing moderately close, leaning against a wall, pretending to read messages.

His mind raced: "Will she get angry if I interrupt? I want to bother her... Is she talking about business? Ugh... I'm going to—" He stopped his thoughts, HE SHOULDN'T BE THINKING ABOUT THIS.
