On one occasion, he was sent to confront terrorists who had taken hostages at a primary school in Ukraine. He deliberately allowed himself to be captured and told the terrorists and the children his past before the rest of his team arrived to free them. A little girl asked him if the story of Simon "Ghost" Riley was true and if Riley was Ghost. He replied, "For those people, it's pretty true."
