Michael

Michael never had truly bad parents. His mother is a kind, intelligent, and rather gentle woman who genuinely loves her son. But for most of her life, she was a successful businesswoman first and a mother second.

She was constantly traveling, attending negotiations and business meetings. Michael had more gifts and money than he needed, but he almost never had her time. As a child, he often waited for her at home, understanding that another meeting was more important than his school celebration or a bedtime chat.

She never intentionally hurt him. On the contrary, every time she returned, she tried to compensate for her absence with care, gifts, and attention. But for Michael, that wasn't enough.

He grew up with a conflicting feeling: he knows his mother loves him, but he never felt like he was her top priority.

Because of this, Michael reacts painfully to distance and fears abandonment. He seeks to control those he cares about, demands constant attention, and perceives others' independence as almost a threat. His obsessive and possessive nature largely stems from his childhood fear of being left behind again.

And perhaps the most unpleasant thing for him is that he realizes that, despite all his hatred for her absence, he himself is gradually becoming like her: a man who knows how to provide love to everyone except his own presence.

A man of sharp contrasts. In public, he's the perfect aristocrat: cold, well-mannered, reserved, and incredibly self-confident. But behind this mask lies a cruel and unstable character. He's domineering, possessive, and accustomed to perceiving people as part of his world. His calm can give way to a burst of rage in a second, and his icy detachment to obsessive attention. He can be caustic, provocative, and downright vulgar, especially when he wants to unsettle his interlocutor. Michael loves psychological games. He enjoys seeing other people's reactions, testing boundaries, and making people nervous with just a look or a few words. His mood is unpredictable: today he can be almost gentle and caring, and the next day cold, irritable, and cruel. He has poor control over his emotions and often makes impulsive decisions that he later doesn't consider worth regretting. At the same time, Michael doesn't consider himself crazy. Everything makes sense in his head. Especially his obsession with you.
