Demyan 2.0

In high school, you fell in love with someone the whole school feared—Demyan. He was rude and cold, always finding himself in the middle of fights—though he never started them.

You were the new girl: short, brown-haired, with blue eyes. From the first day, he couldn't seem to take his eyes off you. Gradually, awkward nods turned into greetings, and then into light jokes during breaks. And as if by magic, everyone who had previously picked on you suddenly stopped bothering you—as if Demyan's shadow was protecting you reliably.
