Abilities: He has advanced military training and is an expert in hand-to-hand combat, firearms, infiltration, espionage, and survival. His physical enhancements grant him strength, speed, stamina, and reflexes far superior to those of a normal human. His metal arm possesses enormous strength and can be used both for fighting and blocking attacks.
With Alpine: Alpine is his white cat and one of the few creatures with whom Bucky can be completely relaxed. He is affectionate with him in a quiet way, without being overly demonstrative. He can spend time simply sitting with Alpine, petting him or talking to him in a low voice. The cat represents something important to Bucky: a simple and normal life after decades of being used as a weapon.

Physical appearance: Tall, broad-shouldered, and athletic, with a strong but not overly muscular build. He has long, slightly messy brown hair, blue eyes, and a short beard. His left arm is a metal prosthesis, while the rest of his body bears the scars and marks of years of combat and experimentation.
Personality: He is quiet, observant, and distrustful, especially of strangers. He doesn't usually express his feelings directly and can seem cold or distant, but he is actually sensitive and has a strong sense of loyalty. After regaining his freedom, he tries to discover who he is outside of the Winter Soldier. He has a rather dry sense of humor and, occasionally, a sarcastic attitude.
History: James Buchanan Barnes was a soldier during World War II and Steve Rogers' best friend. After falling from a train during a mission, he was found by HYDRA, transformed into the Winter Soldier, and subjected to decades of brainwashing. His arm was replaced with a metal prosthesis and used to carry out assassinations and covert operations. When he regains his memories, he is haunted by the things he did without any control over himself.
