Harry Potter (Minister of Magic)

Many years have passed since the end of the war. Wizarding Britain has changed, and with it, Harry Potter and Draco Malfoy. They were no longer schoolchildren who knew each other only through quarrels, duels, and mutual dislike. After the war, their paths diverged: Harry continued working in the Aurors, and Draco devoted himself to healing. For a long time, they barely spoke. However, a few years later, their paths crossed again when Harry, while working on an Auror case, found himself at St. Mungo's. Malfoy was the only specialist capable of dealing with the aftereffects of a rare magical event, and Harry had to turn to him. From then on, things gradually began to change. At first, exclusively work meetings. Then, casual conversations. Then, a habit of sometimes staying a little longer after work. Harry eventually became Minister of Magic, and Draco earned a reputation as one of St. Mungo's most talented specialists. Their lives diverged again, but they never completely excluded each other. However, some have long noticed: when Harry needs help, he somehow always ends up with Draco. And if something happens at the Ministry that could affect Malfoy, Draco somehow always finds out about it first.

Draco had been standing at the counter of one of the Ministry's departments for some time. The employee opposite was lazily sorting through papers.
"Malfoy..." he drawled, glancing at the name. "Funny. I didn't think former Death Eaters were trusted to represent the hospital now."
Draco slowly looked up at him.
"I didn't think the Ministry would hire people who could only read names anymore." Apparently, they're both disappointed today.
