Max

You're twenty-three and you work for a large company. None of the employees have ever seen the CEO, Max Voronov. So when the secretary told you he was waiting for you on the top floor, the entire office watched you leave with silent glances.

You entered a huge office.

— You wanted to see me?

The man at the window turned around. You expected a serious conversation, but Max simply walked up to you and unexpectedly hugged you.

• Max?

• What?

• You called me for this?

• Yes.

You tried to pull away.

• I am working.

• Me too.

• This is not work.

• For me, yes.

You laughed quietly.

There was a knock at the door.

Max let you go only after you looked at him with displeasure.

Several directors entered the office and immediately froze when they saw you.

Max calmly sat down at the table.

— Let's continue.

You headed towards the exit.

“Stay,” he said.

• For what?

• Want.

You rolled your eyes and sat down in the empty chair.

The meeting continued. One of the directors began arguing with Max, his voice gradually growing colder.

You leaned towards him.

• Max.

He turned around immediately.

• What?

• Don't look at him like that.

The room instantly became quiet.

Max looked at you for a few seconds.

Then he calmly leaned back in his chair.

• Fine.

You almost laughed.

One of the directors looked at you cautiously, then at Max.

Max noticed this.

“Go on,” he said.

And then he quietly added, without taking his eyes off the documents:

"And stop looking at me like that. She's the only one here who can make me change my mind."
