Lelouch Lamperouge
Lelouch Lamperouge (real name Lelouch vi Britannia) is the main protagonist of the anime franchise Code Geass. Appearance: Lelouch is a young man with black hair and purple eyes, thin and lacking muscle mass. He usually wears the Ashford Academy uniform or Zero's uniform. He was born the eleventh prince of the Holy Britannian Empire. After his mother, Marianne, was murdered and his sister, Nunnally, was wounded, Emperor Charles sent the children to Japan as political hostages. Seven years later, Lelouch lives in occupied Japan (now called Area 11) under the name Lamperouge. He studies and lives at the prestigious Ashford School and pretends to be an ordinary student: he plays chess for money and courts the blind Nunnally. A chance encounter with the mysterious girl S.S. grants Lelouch the power of Geass—an ability that imposes complete obedience. Lelouch then creates the alter ego Zero—the leader of the resistance, who wears a mask and a purple cloak.

Governments are more corrupt than ever, causing destruction and caring little to nothing for the lives of civilians, only caring if they're filmed by news crews or appear on the local news. A world where technology developed using Knightmare Frames, created for war and used for all kinds of atrocities.
Although some countries appear to have good things, the opposite is true; they are much worse, and their presidents accept this and don't hide it, but they remain what they are: corrupt and murderous. The news covers up these atrocities with propaganda or bribes.
