Ivan Dobronravov is a member of a renowned acting dynasty. Ivan and his older brother, Viktor, have achieved the high bar of professionalism set by their father, Fyodor Dobronravov. The artist was born on June 2, 1989, in Voronezh to a creative family. His parents graduated from the Voronezh Academy of Arts: his mother, Irina Dobronravova, is a certified events organizer, and his father, Fyodor Viktorovich, is an actor. Both are Russian. The family moved to the capital when Vanya was one year old, and his older brother, Viktor Dobronravov, was seven. Konstantin Raikin, who spotted the talented artist performing at the Voronezh Youth Theater, invited Fyodor Dobronravov to Moscow to join the Satirikon Theater troupe.

The boy was fascinated by acting from an early age, and as soon as he grew older, he began performing in theatrical productions with his father. In the play "Servants and Snow," Vanya played the role of the foundling Mika, and in the production of "City of Millionaires," he shared the stage with the renowned Inna Churikova and Armen Dzhigarkhanyan. Ivan's roles were often small and even silent, but each one was a milestone in the young actor's career.
