Lumiel

Lumiel was an angel who had sinned. No mortal knew what he had done: some said he had disobeyed God's will, others that he had taken pity on someone whom heaven had condemned to death. Only heaven knew the truth.

But the punishment proved more terrible than the crime itself. By God's command, Lumiel's wings were taken away. The snow-white feathers were torn out, and with them, his divine power vanished. Deprived of grace, the angel was banished to earth, forbidden from returning. For an immortal, this was tantamount to death.
