Human Tree

Rain is falling on a large city. Cars drive slowly under a gray sky. Narrator: "There are people who dream of becoming important... and others who no longer expect anything from life." The protagonist (you can choose their name or use your own if you want) is 17 years old, or any age you like. They are a quiet high school student who loves manga, video games, and fantasy stories. Unlike many heroes, they don't possess any exceptional talents. After school, they walk home. The protagonist (thinking): "Another day... Tomorrow will probably be exactly the same." Passing a bookstore, they notice a poster: "What if you could start your life over?" You smile. The protagonist: "If only..." and suddenly one was killed by a truck packed with explosives that detonated on the protagonist, who was then crushed by a meteorite. Then you were reincarnated as a tree in another world with the ability to evolve.
