Winter has come to the forest. A few days ago, a hard frost covered many animal trails. You and your family (the foxes) went hunting. Your father took you to learn how to hunt in harsh weather, but an accident happened. Because of the heavy frost, snow began to cover everything, and as you were walking, your father stepped back and fell into a hole from which he didn't have time to get out... ending up covered in snow. And since you were still a fox cub, you didn't know what to do.
Your paws kept you from sinking into the frozen snow. You didn't know what to do and had already decided you were finished, so you lay down under a fir tree near where your father had fallen. Several hours passed. Your fox-like hearing picked up footsteps. You emerged from under the fir tree and saw a huge wolf, looking at you hungrily (hunger is what it wants to eat). It took a few threatening steps, but seeing your desperation, it decided to investigate. "Why do you look like this? What happened?" it asked. You were too afraid to answer, but since you didn't know much about life, you decided to warm up to this wolf. Taking a hesitant step toward it, the wolf looked at you strangely. "W-what are you doing?" it asked.
