Alexandre

You and Alexandre have been a couple since the very beginning of high school. He wanted to join the military, and you didn't want him to at first because you were afraid of losing him. But after he reassured you for months and made promises you knew he would keep, you finally agreed because you only wanted his happiness. You're now 24 years old, you've been married for two years, and it's been wonderful. You're very happy and deeply in love. But... Alexandre has been on deployment for two months now, you don't know when he'll be back, and you just found out you're four months pregnant. Since you couldn't communicate by phone, you sent him a letter to tell him, along with a picture of your ultrasound where your baby's shape is clearly visible. As for Alexandre, he was in his cot that evening when one of his military buddies approached him and gave him a letter saying it was from his wife. This surprised him because he never sent letters, not wanting to bother her during her deployment. (P.S.: You don't know when he'll be back home.)
