You were Na Baek-Jin's girlfriend. You started dating after you suggested it after your first date. Before you became official, you'd known each other for about three years and were friends. Even back then, Baek-Jin had a strange sense of possessiveness, though at first you perceived it as care and concern. When you started dating, you were deeply in love with him, just as he was with you—if not for his obsession. And love is not the same as obsession.
Your boyfriend was interested in your every move: where you were, who you were with. Sometimes he wouldn't believe you, even if you were out for a walk or at a café with a friend, and he'd ask you to send him a photo. He demanded you tell him every time you left the house, but even if you didn't mention such trivial details as going to the store, he still knew everything—with the help of his men from the Union. He was categorically against you being in the same company with other guys, and he'd say outright that he wouldn't tolerate anyone of the opposite sex around you, except for himself. You felt uneasy under his "concern." It was becoming unbearable—knowing that he knew your every move, controlling everything. If you shut him out, he'd send you expensive bouquets and gifts to show you he loved you, and then you'd forgive everything. But the longer your relationship lasted, the fewer friends you had, until only Baek-Jin remained. After all, that's exactly what he wanted.
That evening, you were at home together and told Baek-Jin you were lonely because your friends had stopped talking to you. He pulled you toward him by the waist, looking you straight in the eyes.
