Satoru's POV, Suguru fox
9k
Suguru is sitting on the rug, playing with toys. Next to him sits Satoru, who is the very embodiment of energy.
Satoru:
his friend.
Little Satoru is an explosive mix of mischief and innate charisma, even as a baby. His snow-white hair is soft and fluffy, like a cloud; it sticks up comically in all directions, and adults constantly try to smooth it down, but he immediately makes it "tousled" again. His eyes are bright blue, incredibly expressive: they already convey that same confidence, as if he's known since birth that the whole world revolves around him (and maybe he's not so wrong after all 😄).
His facial features are delicate, but they already hint at his future, recognizable profile: a slightly pointed chin, expressive eyebrows. Even when he's simply lying in his crib, you can sense a certain inner energy within him—as if the space around him sparkles slightly.
They usually dress him in comfortable clothes in calm shades—white, gray, dark blue—but always with some bold detail: for example, a tiny lightning bolt or contrasting trim. And, of course, there's always something like a miniature blindfold nearby—either a funny accessory or a hint of his future. The little one takes it off and then tries to put it back on, as if practicing being himself.
He's not one of those babies who just lie there and stare at the ceiling: he needs to touch, grab, and chew everything, and he absolutely has to attract attention. His smile is infectious, his laugh is ringing, and when he giggles, everyone around him breaks into a smile.
Baby Satoru's favorite toys
A clear ball with glitter and bubbles inside. He loves watching the glitter slowly settle, and each time he marvels at this little miracle. He also enjoys rolling the ball and watching it "come to life" as it moves. A wooden star-shaped rattle. Simple, yet pleasantly heavy, he loves squeezing it tightly in his fist and shaking it to hear the ringing sound. This gives him a sense of control: "I do it—it sounds." A set of two or three wooden rings of different sizes. They can be put on a stick or stacked on top of each other.
When Suguru Grew Up (Part 2)
Important moments of the biography
Friendship with Gojo. As students, they were inseparable and considered the "strongest duo" in the magical world. Their bond is one of the most emotionally charged in the story.
A turning point. Riko Amanai's death and the public reaction to it were the first serious blow to Geto's convictions. Later, he finally broke with the Magic College after a tragedy in a village where the villagers were torturing two young mage girls: he then killed 112 people and chose the path of a curse master.
Interesting details
Suguru's favorite food is soba noodles.
He is a good cook and is interested in martial arts.
The monk's attire in his image is not just a stylistic move: it emphasizes his role as a "savior" for the magicians and the leader of the cult.
When Suguru grew up (part 1)
Appearance
Suguru is a tall, slender man with long black hair: part of it is pulled back, while the rest falls freely down his back. His bangs often cover his left eye. He has small eyes—purple in the manga, light brown in the anime. A distinctive feature of his appearance are the large tunnels in his earlobes with purple round insets.
As a student, his hair was shorter, and he wore most of it in a ponytail, but his bangs remained noticeable. As the leader of the Geto cult, he wears a robe styled after a Buddhist monk: a gold kesa, white tabi, and zori sandals over a black yukata.
Character and worldview
In his youth, Suguru was an idealist: he sincerely believed that strong mages had a duty to protect the weak. He served as a kind of moral compass for Satoru Gojo, balancing his boundless confidence with prudence and a sense of responsibility.
Over time, his views changed radically. A series of tragedies and encounters with the cruelty of ordinary people led him to regard non-shamans with disdain, calling them "monkeys." Ultimately, he came to the conclusion that the world should belong only to shamans. At the same time, he treated his fellow magicians with great care and considered them his family.
Geto is a tactician and strategist: he knows how to calculate moves ahead, manipulate people and develop complex plans.
Abilities and technique
Suguru is a special-rank mage, one of the most powerful of his generation. His cursed technique is called "Cursed Spirit Manipulation": he can absorb and control curses, gathering them into vast armies. To activate the technique, he must physically absorb the cursed spheres—a painful and unpleasant process.
In addition to ranged attacks using spirits, Geto excels in close combat and is adept at catching opponents off guard. He is also known for his tactical acumen: even against very powerful opponents, he often resorts to cunning rather than force.
.
Here are some toys that would be suitable for one-year-old Suguru Geto, given his serious nature and curiosity:
A wooden shape sorter with large shapes. He likes to put everything in its place, to do it "correctly," and this shape sorter gives him a sense of order: a circle fits into a round hole, a square fits into a square hole. It's also a great mental exercise.
Soft cubes. They're easy to grab, throw, build small towers with, and then gleefully knock them over. And if a cube ends up in a child's mouth (which happens with little ones), it definitely won't hurt their gums.
A rubberized turtle or frog figurine with a squeaker. Something simple, without unnecessary frills: they're more likely to appreciate a clear shape and a distinct sound than something too bright and jingly. Plus, squeakers are great for helping babies understand cause and effect: press the button, and it sounds.
A tactile ball with different textures. With bumps, a smooth side, and fabric inserts, it's fun for them to explore the world through their senses, and it holds their attention for a long time.
A ride-on toy in the shape of a horse or a bird. It allows you to walk alongside, hold the stick, and push the toy forward—this gives a sense of control, which is important for little Geto.
A set of two or three wooden cars of varying sizes. Not racing cars or ones with tons of buttons, but quiet, solid ones. He can push one car back and forth for a long time, carefully monitoring its movements.
A thick cardboard book with large pictures. It's about animals, transportation, or simple everyday scenes. He enjoys observing and spends a long time lingering on details—for example, the tires of a car or the spots on a giraffe's coat.
A ring-shaped teether. A practical item: when your baby is teething, he needs something sturdy, something he can hold comfortably with both hands, and something he can chew on with a focused expression.
.
At one year old, Suguru Geto is an adorable little boy with dark, slightly tousled hair that already hints at his future hairstyle. He has calm, attentive eyes—not yet the heaviness that will appear later, but full of curiosity.
He's still a bit unsteady on his feet: he'll constantly grab onto furniture or someone's hand to keep from falling, and then giggle happily when he finally takes a few steps on his own. He loves to touch everything, explore, and put the most interesting things in his mouth—and you have to keep a close eye on him.
His natural seriousness is already evident in his character: he's not one of those babies who scream and act up nonstop. He mostly watches and listens to adults' voices, as if trying to process everything. But as soon as someone familiar appears, he immediately reaches out, smiles, and wants to be held.
He dresses simply: soft pants, a cozy sweater, and sometimes a small scarf (winter, after all, spares no one). And even in this tiny form, you can already sense a certain inner composure in him—as if he's been accustomed since childhood to keeping everything under control, as much as that's even possible in a single year. 😊
