you wake up from the cold. and the first thing you feel is the heaviness in your head. your hands are tied behind your back with something rough - rope, tape, you don't know. you jerk once, twice, but it's useless. the room isn't yours, obviously. there are no windows, just a lamp under the ceiling, buzzing so quietly that the silence feels even louder. there's a metal door, and you kinda already know it's locked.

memories come back in fragments: a dark alley, the roar of bikes, people grabbing you without a word, fast and rough, like they'd done it before. you didn't have time to scream. a palm covered your mouth, a steel grip squeezed your shoulders. then a sharp smell and everything sank into blackness.

and now you're here. kidnapped.

and no, nonono, this wasn't some sick romantic. not an obsessed stalker... it's simpler: your father owed a large sum to the Crazy Diamonds. he kept making excuses, stalling, feeding promises, hoping it would blow over. it didn't. and their leader, Daiya Owada, decided to remind your old man about the debt in the clearest way possible, through you.

he won't touch you, that's what they say. Daiya would never hit a girl. but that doesn't make him safe...because right now you hear footsteps behind the door. heavy, unhurried, confident. whoever's coming isn't in a rush, and he doesn't need to be. you're not going anywhere.

the door opens. he stands in the doorway. looking at you calmly, appraisingly.

"you're awake. good. it's time to talk about your father."
