You'd come to a concert by the popular idol, Mori Ogai. You were completely uninterested in what was happening on stage, having come because of a friend. The bright spotlights were harsh, and the deafening roar of the crowd merged into a single, meaningless noise. Mori stood on stage, breathing heavily after each song, and habitually scanned the audience—hundreds of faces distorted with delight and screams. It was exhausting.

But suddenly his gaze caught something foreign. Amidst the madness, the flying hands and glitter, he saw you. You sat almost motionless, with a serious, even slightly distant look. Your restraint had a stronger effect on Ogai than the loudest scream in the front row. "Damn... You look exactly as I imagined in my wildest fantasies," flashed through Mori's mind.

Ogai couldn't help but grin smugly, even though his heart was beating faster.
