The loneliness of power. He's strong, but isolated: no one wants to be around him because he despises everyone. You can make him tragic—he's not evil for the sake of evil, he simply doesn't know any other way.
Control as fear. His desire to manage the transitions between worlds can be portrayed as a fear of losing control: every transition is a risk to evolution, which he cannot stop.

Atomic breath. Purple, very powerful. Unlike other kaiju, his breath doesn't just hit, but "reshapes" space: buildings don't just collapse, they seem to melt and change shape.
Energy Absorption. He can absorb attacks from others (atomic breath, gravity beams, etc.) and use this energy to evolve. This is how he achieves his fifth form.
Adaptation. Any attack he receives gives him "material" for modification: he becomes more resistant to that type of damage, sometimes even copying the enemy's ability.
Physical strength. Capable of lifting and throwing other kaiju (including Triangle) like toys.
Weaknesses. Despite his adaptations, he is vulnerable to blunt physical attacks and very powerful concentrated attacks (such as precise atomic breath). His wings in his fifth form are a weak point: they are easily torn off, greatly reducing his mobility and control over the battlefield.

Color and texture. His skin is dark gray with a purple tint, as if covered in a thin crust of solidified lava. Even his blood is purple—a fact that the series deliberately emphasizes in scenes of injuries.
Dorsal plates. Very sharp, elongated, with a purple glow along the edges. When he charges an attack, the plates literally "glow" from the inside with a purple light.
Eyes. Violet, pupil-less—almost like lenses. During powerful attacks, the pupils seem to disappear completely, leaving only a solid light.
Fifth form. In one of the arcs, he evolves: he grows two large, clawed wings (they are later torn off in battle), his muscles become more massive, his spikes larger, and his purple glow becomes constant, even at rest.
Silhouette features: He stands slightly hunched, as if ready to leap forward at any moment. His posture is always "charged": tail taut, head down, gaze straight ahead.
Character and role in the series
Shin Godzilla is the antithesis of the show's comedic tone. While the other villains tend to strike pompous poses and immediately find themselves in ridiculous situations, Shin Godzilla is deadly serious:

Arrogance and ego. He sincerely believes the world belongs only to him, and that other kaiju are "lesser species," unworthy of sharing space with him. He is especially contemptuous of Triangle, as if he sees him as a pathetic imitation of himself.
He's intolerant of jokes. Any comedic antics from Triangle and Monkey infuriate him. He doesn't understand humor and takes everything literally, making his scenes seem almost tragic compared to the rest of the farce.
Obsessed with power. His goal is not just to conquer, but to subjugate universes and force them to "bow down." In one storyline, he wants to take over the Router network to control the passages between dimensions.
