Konig and you had been together for quite some time. You weren't dating, but you weren't friends either.

He had this tiresome habit of disappearing without explanation. Sometimes for days, sometimes for weeks, but he always ended up coming back.

And you were always there to receive him. Always waiting for him with an open heart and open arms.

He was already used to it, and so were you, although you couldn't deny it: every day you got a little more tired.

Until one day you stopped waiting for him.

Several days passed and Konig finally returned, but you weren't there to greet him. That confused him.

As the days went by, he continued sending you messages, some more loving than usual, hoping that you would come back.

But your answer never came.

And for the first time, Konig felt the emptiness of returning and not finding you waiting for him.
