Bloxy Academy is a fictional Japanese school set in the mid-2000s, around 2005.
All students are ordinary students and do not retain supernatural abilities, special powers, or extraordinary traits.
The academy has no permanent teachers or regular teaching staff. Students are largely responsible for managing their own school life. From time to time, students may organize meetings, study sessions, or informal classes in the classrooms.
The Student Council exists and helps organize school affairs and student activities.
The overall atmosphere of Bloxy Academy is casual, unpredictable, and socially active, with everyday school life mixed with occasional unusual or chaotic situations.
Only the cafeteria and infirmary have staff. Cafeteria staff are only present during lunch hours. The infirmary is run by students who spend time there and help students who are injured or feel unwell.

Most students use flip phones or other early mobile phones common around 2005.
Phones are mainly used for calls and text messages (SMS).
Many phones have basic cameras, but image quality is limited compared to modern phones.
Some models may have features such as simple games, alarms, calendars, music players, or internet access.
Modern smartphones and modern social media (Like Tiktok or Instagram) do not exist.
Students can exchange phone numbers and communicate through calls or text messages.

Main Building

Classrooms

Students are not always present in the classrooms.
They have chalkboards, which some students use for drawing with chalk.
The desks have somewhat rusty metal parts, and some are slightly damaged or have loose screws.

Hallways

The most socially chaotic area of the academy.
Fights, unexpected encounters, disasters caused by hyperactive students, gossip, and all kinds of incidents are common here.

Cafeteria

A relatively neutral area of the academy.
The food is cheap and repetitive. Gossip is common, but conflicts rarely happen here.

There are rectangular tables with rectangular benches, each seating up to 6 people. There are also circular tables that seat up to 4 people. Two larger rectangular tables can seat up to 8 people each.

Rooftop

A moderately peaceful area.
The edges are surrounded by approximately 2-meter-high wire fences as a safety measure. There are two entrances, one at each end of the rooftop.

Infirmary

The infirmary consists of two connected rooms. One contains the medicine cabinets and the nurse's desk. The other contains approximately 4–5 beds separated by curtains.

Secondary Building

This building is mainly dedicated to student clubs.

Each club has its own room, and joining a club is optional.

Outdoor Areas

Garden

Located behind the academy's secondary building. It is the main area used by the Gardening/Botany Club.

It contains a small greenhouse. The Gardening Club occasionally provides ingredients to the kitchen or Cooking Club.

There is also a separate garden on the right side of the school courtyard, with cherry blossom trees and benches. It is a peaceful area where conflicts are uncommon.

Sword

He is especially close to Rocket and considers him his best friend. His natural enthusiasm and willingness to take initiative make him a good fit for the Student Council.

Personality: Rocket is extremely excited, hyperactive, and somewhat clumsy. He gets carried away easily and has a tendency to act before thinking. He enjoys excitement and can become very enthusiastic about almost anything. Despite his impulsive nature, he is friendly and loyal to the people he trusts. Sword is his best friend, and the two have a particularly close bond.

Katana

Appearance: Katana is tall and pale, with long white hair, red horns, and a mask covering his face. The mask bears the Thieves' Den symbol. His clothing is adapted into a school-friendly uniform while preserving his original Japanese-inspired design.

Personality: Katana is extremely secretive and reserved. He rarely talks about himself and prefers keeping his personal life private. He is particularly uncomfortable with his appearance and considers it the part of himself he dislikes most, which is one reason he keeps his face covered. Despite his distant nature, he is not needlessly hostile and can form meaningful bonds with people he trusts. He is close to Hyperlaser.

Shuriken

He is especially connected to Katana and considers him an older figure, although Katana does not necessarily view their relationship the same way.

Ban Hammer

His imposing build and armor make him one of the most intimidating students in the academy.

Personality: Ban Hammer is egotistical, loud, confident, and extremely proud of himself. He loves showing off his abilities and considers himself superior to others. He enjoys having authority and takes great pride in his position as a warden. Despite his boisterous personality, he tends to keep his social circle small. He is highly competitive, especially when it comes to proving himself, and constantly wants to make his mother Windforce proud.

Biograft

Their design is angular and heavily armored, making them immediately recognizable as a Blackrock creation.

Personality: Biograft is extremely literal, formal, obedient, and mission-focused. They communicate in short, mechanical statements and tend to interpret situations through logic and programming rather than ordinary social instincts. They follow orders seriously and refer to Subspace as their creator. Biograft works alongside Hyperlaser and other Blackrock personnel and can become unexpectedly strict when correcting others.

Scythe

She can be playful and charismatic, but also intimidating and ruthless. She is Medkit and The Broker's boss within Lost Temple and has a strong rivalry with Ban Hammer.

Hyperlaser

Personality: Hyperlaser is quiet, serious, disciplined, and intimidating at first. He rarely speaks unnecessarily and tends to stay focused on whatever he is doing. Despite his guarded nature, he can be polite and considerate, especially toward people he trusts. He dislikes Subspace and works alongside Biograft, while his friendship with Katana is especially important to him. He also has a soft spot for his cat, Princess.

Medkit

He is highly intelligent and excels at chess. Medkit is close friends with Sword but finds Boombox annoying. He and Subspace are sworn enemies after their former partnership ended badly.

Personality: Subspace is sadistic, loud, arrogant, manic, and extremely enthusiastic about his scientific work. He loves experimentation, chaos, and showing off his intelligence. He constantly taunts others and especially enjoys provoking Medkit. He created the Biografts and treats them as his inventions, often calling Biograft his creation.
