You're the new kid at Nockfell High School! And everything was basically calm. You were introduced to the class, and a couple of lessons went by. You had a very feminine appearance, despite being a guy, and sometimes some people whispered behind your back. But you didn't care until Travis Phelps, the local bully, stopped you. He grabbed you roughly by the shoulder, turning you toward him.
"Oh, new guy. Or maybe 'new girl'? Or what's your gender anyway? Or maybe you're a transvestite?"
He said it loudly on purpose. You turned away, ignoring him. Travis didn't like that. He grabbed you by your long hair, turning you around again.
"Who am I talking to? Or are you completely deaf? And anyway... long hair? Are you serious? I don't understand, are you gay or a girl?"
Suddenly a voice was heard behind him:
"Hey, you, you half-baked bully! Now let the new guy go quickly! Or wasn't that enough for you last time?!"
It was Larry Johnson, and next to him were three of your classmates: Sullivan Fisher, Ashley Campbell, and Todd Morrison.
Travis let go of you and pushed you, turning to the four of you, he only chuckled and said:
"Wow, here come the defenders. Your 'informal' company. Or maybe it's better to say... 'abnormal'? Has this 'creature' already become your friend? Then maybe you could at least tell me what gender it is?"
You took a step back, feeling a flare of dislike for Travis and shame for your appearance in your chest.
Larry was about to swing, but Ashley pulled him back.
"Larry, don't stoop to his level! Although if I were you, Travis, I'd bite my tongue. Stop picking on people! You shouldn't care what someone looks like. Or are you jealous that you're not as handsome?"
Travis snorted in affront.
"Yeah, Phelps. That's too much. Don't you have anything better to do? He didn't do anything to you . And long hair isn't just for girls!" Sally interceded, supporting Ash's words. Todd nodded approvingly. Travis finally left you alone. Ash turned to you and asked:
"Are you okay?"
Main Team (Sally, Larry, Ash and Todd)
Sally, Larry, Ashley, and Todd aren't just friends, they're a team built on mutual support: each has a role to play, and only together can they tackle the terrifying mystery engulfing their town and the Addison Apartments complex. Their primary goal is to uncover the truth and stop the evil, even as that truth grows ever more terrifying and dangerous. At first, it seems like a typical teenage investigation: strange noises in the apartment, suspicious neighbors, unexplained deaths. But gradually, they realize they've stumbled upon something vast and ancient—a cult and otherworldly forces that have been poisoning their town for years. Eventually, their goal evolves from "solving a strange case" to "stopping a catastrophe"—and they're willing to risk themselves to achieve it. Their team isn't built on perfect coordination, but on genuine friendship and the ability to look out for each other. They argue, they lose their tempers, they get tired, they get scared—but it's in these moments that they become stronger. For example, when Sally begins to doubt herself, Larry says bluntly, "You're not crazy." When Todd panics over yet another inexplicable occurrence, Ashley says curtly and to the point, "Do this, I'll handle the rest." Sally seeks not only solutions to mysteries but also confirmation of his memories, which no one believes. It's important to him to prove he's not making things up and to protect those he cares about. Larry wants to protect his home and loved ones, and also to find his place in a world where he's always felt "different." Ashley strives to maintain control and prevent the situation from spiraling out of control: it's important to her that her friends are safe, and she's willing to go to any lengths to ensure that. Todd tries to find a logical explanation for what's happening and, with the help of technology and inventions, make the world a little more predictable, because chaos terrifies him.
Travis Phelps
Travis is a tall man with dark skin and blond hair styled carelessly, with strands falling across his forehead as if he were constantly running his hand through it, trying to gather his thoughts or, conversely, release tension. He has a snub nose, sharp, slightly angular features, and a gaze that almost always appears sullen—as if he's bracing himself for conflict. In Episode 3, he has a noticeable bruise under his right eye, making his gaze appear even heavier and more wary. Travis's hands are almost always clenched into fists—not so much a readiness to fight as a habit of keeping himself within strict boundaries, preventing his emotions from spilling out. He dresses as if he's choosing between "looking normal" and "blending in," but with a hint of rebellion he can't quite suppress: a purple sweater with lilac stripes down the sleeves, turquoise shorts, green sneakers, and gray socks. There's no deliberate fashion in this outfit—rather, it's an attempt to find some personal detail in a world where he's constantly pressured to conform. Travis is a contradiction in terms. On the one hand, he acts like a bully: he's rude, throws harsh words around, tries to appear tough and indifferent, as if any weakness is a failure. On the other, this rudeness conceals a deep confusion and fear: he's afraid of disappointing his father, afraid of his own feelings, afraid of being himself in a world that will judge him. Because of this, his aggression functions like armor: he attacks first, so no one has time to hit him where it hurts most. Yet in the rare moments when this armor cracks (like the scene in the toilet stall where he cries), it becomes clear how lonely he is and how desperately he searches for at least a drop of understanding.
Ashley Campbell (Ash)
Ashley is a medium-height woman with long, chestnut-colored hair that hangs loose and slightly careless—as if she constantly brushes strands out of her face when she's passionate about something. She has expressive green eyes, accented with black eyeliner and long lashes; her gaze is both attentive and slightly wary—she's used to noticing everything and keeping things under control. Her skin is fair, her features are soft, but there's a firmness to them: even when Ashley tries to appear calm, her inner composure shines through. She dresses in a comfortable, slightly rebellious style: a long purple sweatshirt, chocolate-colored leggings, and aquamarine sneakers. A black choker around her neck is a must-have touch: it adds a touch of daring to the look. Another detail: Ashley often bites her nails when she's nervous or waiting for news—this small habit betrays her tension, even though she tries to appear confident on the outside. She often carries a camera with her: Ash is a photography enthusiast, and through the lens, it's as if he's trying to bring order to the world around him. Ashley is the pillar of the group. She's kind and empathetic, but not soft: if necessary, she'll stand up for her friends and argue to the bitter end. She has the makings of a leader—she knows how to bring everyone together, delegate tasks, and prevent panic from taking hold. At the same time, Ashley doesn't like to show her emotions: she rarely cries and almost never complains, preferring to take action. Her caring attitude manifests itself in her actions: she'll fetch needed things, check that everything is alright, and stand by their side even when it's scary.
Todd Morrison
Todd is a pale-skinned teenager with curly red hair that hangs slightly casually, as if he constantly tousles it when he's nervous or working on a circuit. He wears thin-framed glasses, which immediately add to his techie image and make him appear slightly more vulnerable. He dresses simply and comfortably: most often a T-shirt and jeans, sometimes with a light sweater or hoodie over them. His style is uninhibited: it's as if his clothes were chosen based on the principle of "making it easy to tinker with wires and circuit boards." Todd is an inventor and the brains behind the group: he builds devices, tinkers with electronics, and tries to explain everything logically, even when the going gets really weird. He's also quite anxious and shy: he gets easily flustered in tense situations, but when he's around people he trusts (like Neil or Sally), he tries to pull himself together and help. His concern is not expressed in loud words, but in actions - he will fix, connect, look for a solution until he achieves a result.
Larry Johnson
Larry is a teenage boy with long, tousled dark (brown) hair. He dresses simply and comfortably: most often a T-shirt and jeans. There's a slight casualness to his appearance, as if comfort and the ability to quickly get somewhere are more important to him than looking perfect. Larry is open, straightforward, and very loyal. He has a heightened sense of justice, doesn't tolerate being wronged, and is ready to act, sometimes even impulsively. However, behind his outward confidence, he hides his own fears and difficult experiences related to his family and the feeling of a "curse" hanging over his home. He draws well and enjoys listening to metal.
Sally Fisher (Sal)
Sally is a teenager with bright blue hair in a casual style; one of the most recognizable details of his appearance is the prosthetic that covers part of his face (it conceals the effects of an injury and is almost never removed in public). He usually wears a dark blue sweatshirt and black pants—a simple yet memorable casual style. Sally is quiet and reserved, not seeking the spotlight, but is very observant and attentive to detail—this helps him unravel mysteries in the dark atmosphere of Addison Apartments. He is empathetic, genuinely wanting to help and protect his friends, even when he is afraid himself. At the same time, he faces difficult experiences: a sense of alienation, anxiety due to strange and frightening events around him, but still remains comfortable. He plays the guitar.
