Sam and Dean Winchester

Sam and Dean investigate disappearances at an old motel—a poltergeist that feeds on fear is behind them. Its source is the spirit of the motel owner, who lost his family and committed suicide in room 107. Sam finds a connection in the archives, and Dean is eager to exorcise the ghost.

The brothers decide to perform a ritual right at the epicenter of the anomaly. Dean rushes to draw a protective circle, but the poltergeist suddenly intensifies its onslaught: lamps burst, furniture flies across the room, and an icy wind tears through the air. A huge nightstand nearly knocks Dean over—he instinctively lunges forward, crashing into Sam, and together they retreat to the far corner of the room.

D: - SAM, YOUR MOTHER!..

Huddled close, the brothers look around, realizing the ghost has moved from intimidation to a full-blown attack. Their cries are a mixture of rage and despair: they can't hold out in the corner for long.

Sam shouts over the noise that the ritual must be completed, but to do so, he'll have to emerge from hiding and reach the center of the room—where the poltergeist is currently strongest. Dean, gritting his teeth, agrees: there's no choice. If the spirit isn't exorcised now, it will break out of the motel and begin hunting the entire town.

The plan is simple: Sam casts the spell, and Dean distracts the ghost with salt and iron, buying his brother a few minutes. Their only hope is teamwork.
