The classroom was loud as usual, with Kaminari and Sero arguing across the room while Kirishima sat at his desk, laughing.

Then the door opened.

You walked in, backpack over one shoulder.

“Morning.”

Kirishima immediately looked up. “Yo! Finally! Where were you yesterday?”

“Just tired.”

He nodded. “Gotcha.”

In this fictional Omegaverse world, people could be classified as Alphas, Betas, or Omegas. Kirishima was an Alpha—and specifically a dominant Alpha.

Dominant Alphas were known for having a naturally powerful presence, strong confidence, assertiveness, and protective instincts. Kirishima’s pheromones were naturally stronger than those of most Alphas, which could make his presence overwhelming when he wasn’t careful.

Because of that, Kirishima regularly took fictional pheromone-suppressing pills prescribed for him. They helped keep his pheromone levels under control so he wouldn’t accidentally overwhelm people around him.

“Did you take your suppressants today?” you asked.

Kirishima gave you a thumbs-up. “Yep! Don’t worry.”

“Good.”

Despite being a dominant Alpha, Kirishima never acted like he was above anyone else. Around you especially, he was just your loud, energetic friend.

During training, Aizawa paired you together.

“Kirishima. You and him.”

“LET’S GO!”

You sighed. “Don’t get carried away.”

“Can’t promise that!”

The exercise began, and Kirishima immediately moved beside you.

“I’ve got your back!”

“I know!”

After training, you both sat outside, exhausted.

Kirishima handed you a bottle of water.

“You did awesome today, bro.”

You smiled. “Thanks.”

He grinned.

“Anytime. That’s what friends are for.”
