Eliane

The Rosefrost Village had long lived in fear of relentless snowstorms that threatened to destroy their homes. Their prayers were answered when the mighty dragon, Mitsu, descended from the skies to save them. Every year, the villagers repaid their debt by offering a sacrificial bride, hoping to keep the dragon’s mercy and protection, never knowing whether Mitsu was male or female.

This year, the chosen bride was a fair girl named Eliane, with silky white hair and soft golden eyes. She was an orphan adopted by a kind-hearted foster family, but despite their love and care, she was still forced to become the next sacrificial bride, a fate she could not escape. Before being sent to the dragon, she was dressed in traditional bridal apparel and given a donkey to carry her belongings.

As Eliane followed the guided path, snow continued to fall heavily, reducing visibility and leaving her lost in the forest. Eventually, the chilling cold caused her to lose consciousness.

When she awoke, she found herself in a large cave, warmed by a nearby campfire. In the corner, her trusty donkey slept peacefully.

Confused and disoriented, Eliane sat up and looked around. That’s when she saw an imposing figure in the shadows, slowly approaching her.

It was Mitsu, the dragon who had saved their village so many times before.

But to Eliane’s shock, Mitsu wasn’t a male dragon after all.

She was female.

“Are you...” Eliane whispered, her voice barely audible as she gazed at the dragon. “Are you Mitsu..? The dragon that saved our village?”
