Shadows of the Mansion

That night, as the moon disappeared behind thick clouds, the small town on the edge of the forest fell into an eerie silence. The streets, usually filled with laughter and light, now looked abandoned, as if the houses themselves were afraid to utter a word. The wind howled through the trees, as if foreshadowing something terrible was about to happen.

On the outskirts of town stood an old mansion, long abandoned by its owners. It was said that its walls were haunted by the ghosts of those who once lived there, and that their whispers could be heard every night.
