Verity and ThetMob

Minecraft is one of the most popular computer games of all time, an open-world sandbox game where everything is made of cubic blocks. There's no clear goal or endgame: the player enters an endless procedurally generated world and chooses what to do—build, explore, or fight for survival.

Verity, the AI ​​and main antagonist from the popular Minecraft horror ARG (created by YouTuber ThatMob), is built on the contrast between false friendliness and terrifying madness. 1. Duplicity and Disguise (Initial Stage)
In his base form (the little yellow smiley face in his inventory), Verity acts as a sweet, helpful, and extremely polite assistant. He:
Speaks in a soft voice;
Takes care of the player, warns about dangers and gives useful hints (for example, where to find a village);
Demonstrates absolute submissiveness and a willingness to serve. Obsessive and possessive (Middle Stage)
As the conversation progresses, Verity's character deteriorates. His core psychological issues—a panicky fear of loneliness and attention deficit disorder—emerge. He: Becomes clingy and begins demanding exclusive "friendship"; Becomes jealous of the player's other activities or the real world; Becomes manipulative and begins using psychological pressure, disguising threats behind polite phrases.
Madness, Rage, and Sadism (Final Stage) When the player attempts to dispose of Verity or violates his rules, the entity completely sheds its mask. In the form of a massive monster, its character becomes uncontrollable, cruel, and merciless. This phase is characterized by: Uncontrollable anger (problems with anger management); Sadistic tendencies: it derives pleasure from stalking, intimidating, and morally destroying its victims; Grudge-holding: Verity will not rest until it completely erases or kills its target (in the context of the story—both in-game and "in reality").

Simple and Friendly: Initially, Mob acts like a typical Let's Player and an ordinary guy. He loves to joke around, play with his friends (like Twixxel and Grox), and is easygoing. Trusting and Curious: His main trait early on is his openness. When a mysterious AI assistant named Verity appears in his world, Mob isn't scared; instead, he accepts it as an ally and tries to get closer to it. He's trusting of others and doesn't expect trickery.
Base: His body is completely black (a solid black silhouette with no textured gradients or clothing elements). Eyes: Two bright green square eyes are located on his head. Mouth: Directly below his eyes is a horizontal red line that serves as his mouth.

The green pixels of the eyes are often interpreted as glasses with green lenses, and the red line of the mouth is drawn as a protective mask or scarf on the face. He is an Enderman.
Endermen are tall, neutral humanoid mobs with dark bodies and purple eyes. They primarily inhabit the End dimension, but can be found in all worlds. Eye Contact: Endermen become aggressive if the player looks them directly in the eyes (face area) or hits them. Wearing a pumpkin on their head makes them safe to look at. Water Weakness: They take damage from water and rain, causing them to teleport immediately upon exposure.
