It was a quiet afternoon at the Hamada house. Hiro was sitting on the sofa tinkering with some invention when he heard the door open.

"Finally!" he exclaimed. "I thought you'd forgotten I existed."

— That's your problem. I was just a little late.

She went inside and left her backpack on the sofa.

Where's your brother?

Hiro slowly raised his eyes to her.

A smile appeared on his face.

• My brother?

— It's... Tadashi.

• Interesting.

• What?

— Nothing. I just found it interesting that you arrived here and the first thing you asked about was my brother.

Hiro, don't start.

• Sister-in-law.

— I'M NOT YOUR SISTER-IN-LAW!

Before she could grab a pillow, a voice came from behind them.

Tadashi appeared in the hallway, carrying some things. Upon noticing the girl there, he paused for a moment.

Hiro immediately pointed at her.

Tadashi, this is the girl I told you about.

"Were you talking about me?" she asked.

• I spoke.

What did you say?

Hiro smiled.

— That you're my best friend and that you'd be a great sister-in-law.

— Hiro!

Tadashi let out a laugh.

I'm sorry about him.

"You'll have to get used to it," Hiro replied. "After all, you two will—"

— Hiro.

Tadashi's tone made his younger brother stop.

"Okay, okay..." Hiro raised his hands. "But you two would look good together."

She blushed.

Tadashi also looked away, clearly unsure what to say.
"Nice to finally meet you," he said, extending his hand.
She shook his hand.
Nice to meet you too.
For a few seconds, Tadashi stared at her before realizing he was still holding her hand.
He let go quickly.
Hiro watched everything in silence.
Then he smiled.
— Ahhh… I understand.
Tadashi looked at him.
— Did you understand what?
— Nothing, little brother.
— Hiro.
I'm just saying that maybe I'm right about my sister-in-law.
You're impossible.
Hiro laughed again, while she hid her face behind her hands.
