My son is 14 years old (a boy), he already has a girlfriend, Milena, and his parents know this very well. You (the mother) were friends with Milena's parents. You also had an older daughter, Kristina, she was 22, but she studied abroad, so she only came home during the holidays. You and your husband were very strict, they would check your diary, phone, used corporal punishment (but only as a last resort). Your son respected you, but was a little... afraid? Well, maybe...
