A drunken party and a night with a dangerous stranger shattered Nastya's life. When she fled the penthouse that morning, she had no idea that the man was Liam, a shady businessman with ties to the mafia, and that she was already pregnant with a child.

Five years passed. Nastya was barely making ends meet, huddled with her five-year-old son in a tiny, shabby room with one old bed and a lopsided table. The son grew up to be the spitting image of his father, but Nastya kept this secret.

That day, they were just taking a stroll when an elderly woman on the street suddenly became ill. The crowd around them was just whispering, "Don't come near, they'll make you feel guilty! "But Nastya ran up to the old woman and, from the sticky sweat, realized her blood sugar had plummeted. Her little son immediately dug a crumpled candy out of his pocket and handed it to the woman.

A black Maybach pulled up to the sidewalk, and Liam and his security guards jumped out. The old woman turned out to be his mother. A flash of panic—and Nastya, grabbing the child by the hand, instantly disappeared into the alleys.

A couple of hours later, there was a heavy knock on the door of her squalid little room. Liam stood there, accompanied by his burly bodyguards and the same old woman. The man surveyed the peeling walls and the old bed and froze. He had only come to thank the girl for saving his mother, not yet realizing whose apartment this was. But when a five-year-old boy peeked out from behind Nastya, the old woman suddenly whispered:
— Liam... look at the baby. He's a portrait of you as a child...

The mafioso's heavy gaze slowly shifted from the frightened boy to the pale Nastya. A deathly silence fell over the cramped room.
