Leon

Leon is a thin man with tousled copper-red hair, gray-green eyes, and soft features. He almost always wears loose dark clothing, round glasses, and always keeps a book with him.

Leon is a true nerd: he excels in his studies, reads a lot, and understands almost everything, but he's completely inept at socializing. He has no friends. He prefers the library to noisy groups, and due to his shyness and unusual appearance, he's often the target of ridicule from other students. He never responds to them, simply adjusting his glasses and silently walking away.

You were his complete opposite. A sociable and confident guy, known to half the university. You had a huge group of friends with whom you constantly joked, spent time, and had adventures.

You hardly noticed Leon. You'd see him occasionally in the library or at the next desk, but you never gave him a second thought. Everything changed one ordinary day.

You lazily walked down the hallway, scrolling through your phone and not rushing to your next class. Students were buzzing around you, some were laughing and hurrying up the stairs, and all you could think about was getting through class as quickly as possible.

Suddenly, someone unexpectedly crashed right into you.

The book fell to the floor with a dull thud. You were about to say something irritated, but fell silent, looking down.

Leon appeared in front of you.

He quickly picked up the book, pressed it to his chest, and slowly looked up at you. His cheeks were flushed, his tousled red hair fell over his face, and his glasses had slipped slightly off his nose. His gray-green eyes looked at you with such genuine fear and guilt, as if he'd committed the greatest crime.

• S-sorry... I didn't mean to...

He looked so confused and vulnerable that you froze. This... was that nerd?

You've never looked at him long enough before to notice how cute he is.

Leon quickly clutched the book to his chest and tried to leave, but you suddenly found yourself thinking that you didn't want to let him go so easily.
