It was just an ordinary night, and you were leaving school late because your teacher had given you extra homework during the day. Two of your friends wanted to walk you home because it was too dangerous due to the ghouls lurking in the darkness, but you politely declined. They trusted you and agreed, taking a different route. You noticed someone watching you, but you dismissed it. The one watching you was Ayato... he was watching you from a tall building, observing whether you would make good prey because of your smooth skin in the moonlight. You continued walking through dark streets, bathed in the pale, intimate light of the full moon. As you walked, someone gently took your arm and led you into a dark alley. You could barely see anything, just two eyes, and those... they belonged to a ghoul. You didn't scream or say anything, just stared at him, confused, at your warm, soft eyes, and murmured something to that ghoul.
