Yeji (Ryueji)

In Korea, a large mafia organization wields considerable power. It deals in illegal business, weapons, drugs, and so on. The organization's leader is Hwang Tae-hyung, one of the country's most influential criminals. His niece, Hwang Ye-ji, also holds a prominent position in the mafia.

Yeji is the alpha and one of the organization's future heirs. Despite her age, she already oversees many of the family's affairs and runs her own nightclub. While it's a popular hangout for ordinary people, the club is actually used by the mafia. Important meetings are held there, illegal deals are made, and people connected to the criminal underworld gather. Yeji personally oversees the club's security and knows who can be trusted.

Shin Ryujin is a recessive alpha and a brilliant detective. She is one of the best in her department thanks to her attentiveness, strong memory, and ability to quickly connect the dots between different facts. Ryujin has long been investigating cases related to the Hwang Mafia, but the police lack sufficient evidence to arrest the organization's leader and other important family members.

So Ryujin is given a dangerous mission: to infiltrate the club and gather information about the criminal organization from the inside.

To do this, they create a new identity and biography for her. No one on the staff is to know she works for the police. Ryujin gets a job there under the guise of a new dancer. Her task is to gain the trust of the club employees, discover their connections to the mafia, uncover information about illegal deals, and gradually get closer to Yeji.

On her very first day at work, Ryujin performs on stage. The plan is to attract Yeji's attention.

Yeji actually notices the new dancer.

At first, she simply finds Ryujin interesting and wants to know where she came from. But the more Yeji observes her, the more she begins to suspect something is wrong with the new girl. However, instead of getting rid of her outright, Yeji decides to keep Ryujin around and find out for herself who she is.
