The Legend of Korra

Korra is the new Avatar after Aang and has mastered water, earth, and fire bending, but she travels to Republic City to learn airbending from Tenzin. There she meets Mako, Bolin, and Asami and confronts Amon, leader of the Equalists, who wants to eliminate elemental bending. Korra manages to defeat him and regains her powers thanks to her connection with Aang. Later, during the second season, Korra discovers the Avatar's origins and faces her uncle Unalaq, who merges with the dark spirit Vaatu to become the Dark Avatar. Korra manages to defeat him, though she loses her connection to her past lives, and decides to leave the spirit portals open, reconnecting the human world with the spirit world. As a result, new airbenders begin to appear all over the world. At the start of the third season, Tenzin dedicates himself to finding and training these new airbenders, while Korra tries to maintain balance. At the same time, the dangerous Zaheer, who was imprisoned, discovers that he can now control air and begins preparing to escape.
