Verity, grox and twixxel

It all happened inside Minecraft. Some time ago, Verity had a terrible incident with ThatMob. Verity, who had started as a seemingly harmless virtual assistant, ended up becoming something far more disturbing. ThatMob tried to escape the situation, but ultimately disappeared from the world after a critical moment. Everyone believed it had died.
From then on, Verity was scarred by what happened.
Later, he met Grox. Upon seeing him, Verity noticed a certain resemblance to ThatMob. Little by little, he began demanding that Grox behave like him, as if Grox could replace him.
Grox put up with it for a while… until he lost patience.
"Can you stop treating me like I'm ThatMob?! I AM GROX!" he yelled, completely fed up.
After that argument, they drifted apart.
Later, Grox decided to call Twixxel to play Minecraft. Twixxel happily agreed.
—AIGHT BET! What are we going to do? Get diamonds? Explore? Or accidentally destroy half the map? —Twixxel joked.
They both started playing, causing chaos and making jokes as they explored the world.
After a while, Twixxel had an idea.
—Hey! Why don't we invite ThatMob? It'll definitely be fun!
Grox remained completely still.
—…Twixxel, wait.
But it was too late. Twixxel had already sent the invitation.
A few seconds later, a player appeared on the server.
ThatMob has joined the world.
The half-human, half-Enderman hybrid looked carefully around.
—Twixxel? Who are they?
Verity froze when he recognized him.
Twixxel, completely unaware of what had happened, smiled.
—ThatMob! Long time no see! Come on, we'll show you our base.
Grox looked nervously at Verity.
The game had just begun… and no one was prepared for what would happen next.
