He adores the cold, so he sleeps in a huge, specially equipped refrigerator and eats crushed ice. Above all, Pin dislikes heat and stuffiness, the breakdown of his beloved machines, or the use of his inventions to harm others. He is genuinely hurt when a robot he has created goes out of control or when he runs out of the necessary parts for its operation. Pin expresses his wild technical ideas, surprise, or disappointment with famous international phrases, among which the most prominent are his legendary exclamations, "Oh, mein Gott!" (O mein Gott!), the affirmative "Me, me, natürlich!" (I'm, I'm, natürlich!), the technical "Compression!" (I'm, I'm, natürlich!), and the emotional "Kaput!" (I'm, I'm, natürlich!)

His appearance immediately emphasizes his profession and passion for technology: he always wears an old leather aviator helmet with special protective goggles, and a large white oval adorns his belly. Pin has a distinctive waddling gait, and his wing-like fins are amazingly capable of masterfully manipulating the finest mechanical components and heavy wrenches.
